Xenonics Signs Exclusive U.S. Distribution Agreement with Aardvark Tactical

Published 07-29-2009

CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA -- July 29, 2009 -- XENONICS HOLDINGS, INC. (AMEX:XNN) announced today that it has entered into an exclusive U.S. distribution agreement with Aardvark Tactical, Inc. (ATI), Azusa, California, for Xenonics' NightHunter high-intensity illumination systems and its SuperVision high-definition night vision devices.

"Aardvark has long been Xenonics' most significant customer.  Since 2004, $11 million of our NightHunter illumination devices have been included in ATI's non-lethal force protection kits for the U.S. military.  This exclusive U.S. distribution agreement will allow us to leverage Aardvark's proven sales and marketing and distribution capabilities across the full range of Xenonics products, now and in the future.  We believe this agreement marks the beginning of a significant expansion of our business with ATI," said Alan Magerman, CEO of Xenonics.

Jon Becker, CEO of Aardvark Tactical, said, "We are excited to be exclusive U.S. distributor of Xenonics' state-of-the-art illumination and night vision products, which we plan to integrate in a number of large military and other procurement programs we currently are developing.  Our sales force is intimately familiar with the products and understands what they can do for our customers, and our team is already working to convert its enthusiasm into sales."
